By accessing or utilizing our Harmonized System directory, E-Mirsal II Converter SaaS tools, CBM Freight Calculator, carrier & port registers, or API endpoints, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and all applicable UAE Federal and Emirate-level trade regulations.
1. Scope of Digital Services & Non-Binding Advisory Status
UAE HS Codes provides trade intelligence, customs classification references (8-digit, 10-digit, and 12-digit HS codes), container packaging estimations, and Dubai Trade flat-file formatting utilities for informational and operational acceleration purposes.
Statutory Customs Declaration Advisory
While our database is continuously harmonized against the GCC Unified Customs Tariff and Dubai Customs notices, our automated recommendations and classifications do not constitute legally binding tariff determinations (Binding Tariff Information / BTI). Official customs clearance in the UAE requires submission to Dubai Customs or the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP).
2. E-Mirsal II Converter & Dubai Trade Flat File Processing
Users of our SaaS E-Mirsal II Converter agree to the following operational parameters:
- Client Verification Responsibility: The importer, freight forwarder, or clearing agent retains sole legal responsibility for verifying the accuracy of HS codes, invoice values, currency conversion rates, and controlling authority permits (e.g., MOIAT, MOCCAE, MOHAP, TDRA) before uploading flat files into Dubai Trade.
- No Penalty Liability: Hai Technologies LLC and UAE HS Codes shall not be held liable for customs declaration rejections, inspection penalties, demurrage charges, port storage fees, or commercial shipment delays arising from inaccurate spreadsheet formatting or customs valuation discrepancies.
3. Intellectual Property Rights & Database Protection
All software architectures, proprietary algorithmic mapping engines, database indexes, UI design systems, brand trademarks, and editorial trade publications on uaehscodes.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Hai Technologies LLC and protected by UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyrights and Neighboring Rights.
- Users are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our platform for lawful commercial trade intelligence.
- Automated mass-scraping, headless browser extraction, data mining, or framing of our database without express written enterprise authorization is strictly prohibited.
4. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the Federal Laws of the United Arab Emirates and the local laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or platform operations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Courts of Dubai (or the DIFC Courts where mutually agreed for enterprise contracts).
